On Friday, July 21 Rebekah Carter, Care is There Geriatric Care Management, will present information about transportation options for older adults in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Dawn Shull, Transportation Coordinator for Valley Program for Aging Services (VPAS), will share about the challenges and successes of the VPAS program and Joyce Nussbaum, VPAS Health and Wellness Coordinator, will present information about a new initiative being explored by the Harrisonburg, Rockingham Healthy Community Council. Presentations will be followed by discussion and brainstorming to identify additional challenges and solutions regarding transportation for older adults.
There will not be any member spotlight this month.
