On Friday, August 15, Valda Garber-Weider spoke to the Aging in Place Round Table on the topic of caregiver stress. She discussed the different types of stress caregivers face and the strategies and coping mechanisms which are useful to reduce their daily burden.
Valda is the Director of Assisted Living at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community (VMRC) and an educator on memory care.
The meeting also featured a “member spotlight” presentation by Jim Maust of Venture Builders, Inc.
